Mother’s medically delicate cat is here for like a week and a half now to be taken care of by me, medically delicate human. At least we know what’s wrong with the cat and can medicate her. She’s fine, she likes me for some reason. She only truly loves my mother though. She’s curled up by my face right now, so maybe she also loves me.

The kitten, naturally, is saddened by this. A new cat?? Exciting!! Oh new cat hates us and mother setup a gate to stop us from meeting and I can’t nap in the bedroom??? Horror. Buuuut mother is playing and making sure I’m okay. It’s okay, she says. Maybe.

She tried to get through the gate cause when she was little little, she could. As an adult, her head is finally too big!
